Our ref: EN/JLM/PRE/HNThe other two Biggs found listed in the register for this period are :
Thomas Biggs, who joined on 25 October 1847, who came from Huline Chapel,
Cheshire and was previously a labourer; and Henry Biggs who joined on 25
September 1848, who came from English Bicknor, Coleford and whose prior
occupation was a labourer. Unfortunately neither of these gentlemen
correlate with the details you have providedWe also searched the list of police personnel files, but again found no
reference to a file for Richard (QW/Y/1/6).Email from Jim Aston sent 13.9.2005
On the marriage certificate between John Marfell & Sarah Jane Biggs, her father is shown as Superintendant Constable, however a census report shows differently on her widowed mother's census in 1881:CHELTENHAM - Part 24 - 1851 Census Gloucestershire
