Jim Wallace(paternal/1st Dad) and Bill Frater (Uncle Bill/2nd Dad), were both brought up by wee-nana, Sarah McBroom Frater. Wee-nana's father, William Frater (born 27 June 1869) lived with Jim and Bill up until he died. I'm sure Jim and Bill looked upon him as their father, seeing as both their dads weren't around. Jim's dad died in a car accident and Bill's dad, Adam Frater (wee-Nana's brother), just sort of lived his own life in Wellington. Adam was quite dark skinned.born 17:30 pm in longridge to William Frater (coal miner) and Jane Halbert Frater (nee Stewart) who married on 26 October 1894 in Bothwell.
