William FRATER

emailed from Viki Callahan Wallace
Jim Wallace(paternal/1st Dad) and Bill Frater (Uncle Bill/2nd Dad), were both brought up by wee-nana, Sarah McBroom Frater. Wee-nana's father, William Frater (born 27 June 1869) lived with Jim and Bill up until he died. I'm sure Jim and Bill looked upon him as their father, seeing as both their dads weren't around. Jim's dad died in a car accident and Bill's dad, Adam Frater (wee-Nana's brother), just sort of lived his own life in Wellington. Adam was quite dark skinned.
