For John Marfell who married Sarah Jane Biggs, I show below census entries which show a move to Yorkshire, a move more associated with Coal Miners than people with his varied professions. He died in Holmfirth of "Last of the Summer Wine" fame 24.10.1924 :Email from Jim Aston sent 13.9.2005

believed she died in infancyThere is a Gwenllian Biggs buried in Treorchy living at 6 St Albans Street in 1954. The family home of Edgar Ambrey Biggs. Birth is circa 1976. Gwendoline Biggs and Gwenllian may be the same person. Need a search of 1891 to locate. Interment doc says she is buried with Gwladys (this would be sister)

worked for the Railways in Sierra Leone - died therespoke to Lexie 5.6.2002
Ivor remained a Bachelor all his life. Got on well in railways. other families related to Biggs (from Swindon) were quite "senior" in the railways which helped him get jobs. He was sent to places like Sierra Leone. He saved his money and when he came back home (to the Rhondda) he was generous to the family children. He brought home African nick-nacks. The location of these items are now unknown.1891 census
