died during the war, buried: Phaleron War Cemetry, Greece.

Email from nephew Greg Frater (25/4/2011)
The record for  myuncle Thomas Ivan Frater (8099), who died on Crete in WWII has a small error(originating from a mistake in the Commonwealth war Memorial records).  It shows him to have come from a non-existanttown called Dunbank, whereas he in fact came from the town of Dunback, nearPalmerston in Otago.
